"The rooms were nice, clean, and spacious. We only had the chance to try one restaurant, Caracol, and the food there was very good. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy the buffet very much. The dining area was quite small, very hot, and there were often long lines. There was also a strong sulfur smell around the property, possibly due to the seaweed. We travel to Mexico frequently, and compared to other resorts, the food was not one of the highlights of this hotel. The beach area is rather small, and the music around the pool was extremely loud. However, it was still a nice place to relax on the beach. The water was much darker than at other resorts we have visited. The resort also felt somewhat crowded and compact. We did not like the restaurant reservation system since it is not available through the app. This makes it difficult to get reservations, especially if you are staying for only a short time. On a positive note, the evening shows were very good and entertaining, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay."
