"A perfect, rustic base for exploring the amazing Amazonian jungle. We had an incredibly knowledgeable guide, and the food was very good, too. Just don't expect anything more than camping-like conditions, with spartan rooms, mosquito netting and limited electricity."

"The basement has a little kitchenette with a two burner stove, a microwave, refrigerator, a sink and bowls, and dishes and pots and pans, which is great for cooking your own food"

"Staff was friendly and efficient. Couldn’t get hot water and there is mold on the ceiling in the main room and bathroom. We have fairly low standards though, so it was sufficient for us."

"This hotel has been recently renovated and it feels like a completely different place. It is nothing like the old version. The hotel now is very clean, fairly quiet with comfortable rooms/beds, great showers, good WiFi, wonderful staff and is set at a very fair price. I know the city of Iquitos well and this is one of the best places you can stay, particularly if you’re just staying for a few nights. It’s in a very central location near everything you would want to be close to. Very safe also. I will always stay here when I’m visiting the great mystical place that is Iquitos, Peru. "
