Okay stay in Mersing
Overall okay. Hotel is quite old and in need of renovation. Comfy enough to sleep but other than that, acceptable. Being the only hotel available in Mersing, little choice but to stay there if you're catching the ferry to tioman.

Customer service was good. Only issue we have was that the apartment was facing a construction site and there was noises from the road at night.
