Although it was right in downtown Palmerston, easy walking distance to the Square, it was Quiet, and the bed was fantastic and it was Clean. There were enough blankets to suit even me. I will be staying there every time I go to Palmerston North thanks All"

"The Copthorne is a central and easy place to stay in Palm North . Updated exterior is contemporary and more appealing . Great that rooms now have heatpump/ AC. Reception staff always helpful and ensure a smooth check in/ out."

"No pin holding the toilet roll holder in so when you touched the roll it just all fell apart Jug must have been used for something else other than boiling water as it stunk like burnt … tried to have a cup of coffee in the morning and the smell was the same as the taste awwwfffuulll Lady at front desk who checked us in was so helpful and lovely. Beds were clean, rooms just a bit run down New jug needed for room 609 "

"The hotel was very close to Massey University. it appears to have been recently remodeled. Everything is up-to-date and modern. It had a full kitchen as well as two beds and a comfortable seating area. there were a lot of very thoughtful, small add-ons like fresh milk for the coffee and fresh cookie in the room. The staff was extremely polite and friendly. They gave us a great run down of the area and things to do! Parking was plenty and spacious. we did not do laundry as it was the end of our trip. we will definitely stay here again when we visit our daughter at school! "

"Hotel is in good location right by square and staff were helpful. Room was clean. Parking was a bit of a pain and the parking area needs to be booked ahead of time. It’s around the corner from hotel. The room we were in had a wet room/accessibility shower. The curtain around it was inadequate to keep bathroom dry. Whole room ended up soaked every time one of us showered. FYI. Room is only serviced every other day. So needed to exchanged soaked towels ourselves. The room was missing the iron and the tap in bathroom stuck quite badly. Not a 4 star hotel. Was ok, but we would book elsewhere next time."
