wonderful staff! We had a little issue with the A/C and they upgraded us complimentary for a better room. It is a very serene and beautiful place , away form the noisy crowds and very close to a great beach. Wonderful breakfast

Beautiful place surrounded by nature

Beautiful place! If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the nature, this is the right place! We were here some years ago, even though the place is bigger it preserves the essence and beauty!

It was an amazing stay! The room was beautiful. There was a minor issue we had but they were so accommodating to it. The breakfast they provided was delicious and I loved how it was an a beautiful seating area outside amongst nature. Me and my boyfriend loved our stay.

The breakfast is amazing! Each option is served with fresh baked bread that's still warm. I had a tour that was picking me up at 8am and the staff was kind enough to rush out my food and pack my fruit to go. I highly recommend staying here

a gem

this is such a beautiful space with kind and courteous staff. The resort is so serene and beautiful, and rich with wild costa rican nature. Just the occasional inconsistencies with the cleanliness of the floors, and odors in the room, that could be resolved with more attention to cleaning and by providing air fresheners - that was my only critique. As the resort is often fully booked because it's truly a gem.

The property was beautiful, peaceful, and most hang out spots were open air style. The staff were so friendly, cute dogs on site, and the response to arriving the premises was amazing. Only thing was the first night we arrived (after a 20 hour commute) we went to use the shower and noticed the shower handle wasn’t paved flatly against the wall, to which numerous mosquitos came out to greet us. Additionally, add said the studio was sound proof and it was not in fact sound proof, could hear people walking outside and communicate through the door without having to open it. Besides that, we had an amazing time here. Close to a lot of amazing restaurants and beaches.

Great place to unwind and take in the beauty of nature. Super friendly staff who were always there to answer any questions. The pool area was great and well maintained. Suites were clean with very well decorated. Will definitely be back!

Wir waren 2 Nächte in diesem Hotel und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Die Hütten stehen in einem tollen Garten, sind gemütlich eingerichtet und bieten allen Komfort: geräumiges Bad mit ausreichend ausreichend Abstellmöglichkeit, das Bett war eher hart aber bequem. Die AC war leise. Die Zimmer waren absolut sauber und der Zimmerservice gründlich. Der Poolbereich ist auch sehr schön, dort gibt es auch einen Wasserspender. Das Frühstück in Buffetform war lecker und lokal geprägt, uns hat alles gut geschmeckt. Auch das Essen im Restaurant war super. Da das Hotel ziemlich abseits liegt, sind andere Restaurants eher nur mit dem Auto zu erreichen (am ersten Abend hatte das Restaurant geschlossen). Die Mitarbeiter waren allesamt freundlich. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt: bei Regen ist es extrem laut, wenn es auf das Blechdach regnety Am anderen Tag wurden wir von den Brüllaffen geweckt, also Ohropax mitnehmen wenn man empfindlich ist. Insgesamt hat es uns sehr gut gefallen und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Pura vida!

Adoramos a estadia, o quarto era super espaçoso, ducha gostosa, cama confortável, ar condicionado excelente e tudo extremamente limpo. O Hotel é lindo, cheio de vegetação muito bem cuidada e o café da manhã delicioso. Recomendo e espero voltar em breve.

Séjour parfait à l’hôtel Sonora. Les propriétaires et le personnel sont très agréables et l’hôtel est absolument magnifique. La piscine d’eau salée est très propre. Tout est d’une propreté remarquable et on se sent merveilleusement bien dans l’hôtel. Les petits déjeuners sont excellents et les propriétaires proposent un repas cuisiné de leurs propres mains chaque soir pour 20$/personne. Entrée, plat, dessert. C’était excellent et copieux, l’un des meilleurs dîner rapport qualité-prix de tout notre séjour. Endroit parfait pour séjourner aux abords de puerto viejo et cahuita!

Es un lugar para conectar contigo mismo, la naturaleza. Es bellísimo, algo retirado pero vale completamente la pena, el personal es increíble, Alessandra es una mujer muy bella. Honestamente no veo la hora de regresar.
