The place is ok, a little over rated in my opinion. One has to get out of the car to open gate to get into a small parking space. They woke me up early on Sunday morning to move my car, cause I was the last one in the parking space last night and someone wanted to leave, so I had to get up to move my car. They were very rude about it. So parking is an issue, as it was raining hard and had to get out to open and close gate also.

A Beautiful Place in the Costa Rican Caribbean

Casa Merlin is beautiful place, clean and in an excellent condition. Good price and excellent service. The matress are a little bit soft for me.

Бронировали с мужем отель с 29.07.18 по 02.08.18 г., но из-за отмены рейса в отель заселились на два дня позже. Девушки с ресепшен: Эдита и Симона сообщили, что деньги вернуть не смогут, т.к. тариф невозвращаемый и предложили нам продлить проживание на два дня, было очень приятно)) мы задержались на один день. Номера небольшие, но чистые и уютные, замечательный бассейн и сад, кондиционер работал хорошо, с горячей водой проблем не было. Отель расположен уединенно, к тому же мы были единственными гостями отеля (считается не сезон и будни), поэтому были слышны только крики обезьян-ревунов и птиц! До пляжа Punta Uva можно дойти за 40 минут, чуть ближе есть тоже прекрасный пляж. Нам все понравилось! Рекомендую!!!))

Peaceful hotel on the middle of the forest.

The location lf the hotel is wonderful. It is about 10 minutes in car from Puerto Viejo downtown. In the middle of the tropical forest where the only noise you will hear will be from the nature. The staff is really nice. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The price of the drinks in the minibar are affordable. The breakfast is good with variety of food. Free coffee anytime. The swimming pool is great. The backyard has a good view of the forest.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, and close to the beach

Simone and Ignacio were very helpful, friendly, and extremely kind. They made our stay excellent!!! The rooms were cozy and comfortable. Very quaint and quiet. I would recommend this hotel for everyone.
