Gonzalo was kind and helpful. Beautiful views. Heads up: Google maps chooses the shortest route which takes you though an narrow alley way and up an unpaved hill which is not recommended. Make sure to go around what seems to be the back way, but it actually takes you to the front entrance. The name Casa Escondida (Hidden House) is perfect for this place.

Livingston Overnight Stay

Only a brief stay for one night but a really friendly and helpful host, clean room and close to the centre and ferry pier. Would have been happy to stay for longer.

Postcard picture view of Rio Dulce from our room and a beautiful balcony that made us feel we were staying in a tree house surrounded by palm trees. Delicious breakfasts and best of all, our hosts Gloria (very attentive, knowledgeable and always available) and Gonzalo (always working on upkeep and maintenence). Thank you for a great stay!

The owners were very friendly and accommodating. They offered clear advise on things to do around town. We had a double room which was clean and comfortable. The place is located with a view from above to the water, not on the beach but easy to get to.

Verstecktes Juwel !

Ruhig und doch sehr zentral gelegen. In 5min zu Fuss sind das Pier oder das Zentrum erreichbar. Wunderschöner Ausblick auf den Hafen von Livingston. Gloria und Gonzalo sind wunderbare, herzliche Gastgeber, welche nützliche Informationen rund um und in Livingston geben können. Köstliches Frühstück mit mega Blick auf den Hafen. Zimmer sind sehr sauber und wurden jeden Tag gereinigt. 100% zu empfehlen! Es war einfach alles Top!

Gloria est une hôtesse charmante et très prévenante. La casa est un peu à l'écart du centre mais tout proche quand, du coup aucun bruit. C'est le top. La vue de la terrasse est magnifique et la casa ayant peu de chambres on se sent en famille. Nous y avons passé 4 jours et serions bien restés plus longtemps.

It is truly hidden but once you get in you feel the peace and tranquility of an old residence stuck in our modern times, well kept, clean, a nice small pool, the outside breakfast area with a stunning view, excellent staff service including the owners, you will feel in your own home away from it, Casa Escondida is a true hidden gem in Livingston, Guatemala.

Excellent location, beautiful view and staff very helpful friendly and welcoming. Rooms are large, clean, upgraded and beds very comfortable. A/C, wifi, tv... everything you need 5min away from peer for lanchas. Quiet and safe area very close to main street.
