"Beautiful view from our balcony and communal area round the front of the property. Very clean with great facilities and air con, the wifi was not the best so be prepared. Very steep walk up to the property which is doable if you are quite active, would recommend to have a car or motorcycle otherwise. Close to a bus stop, nice supermarket and town centre. "

"A stay at Strawberry is a sweet experience. Margarita was a wonderful host and couldn’t do enough for you. The Pension is spotless, pool lovely and quiet and breakfast each day had plenty of choices. Definitely a place to relax and unwind. Plenty of wonderful restaurants literally on the doorstep. "Well equipped apartments in a beautiful and tranquil setting amongst the trees & overlooking the sea. We had a wonderful week here, it is in a great location close to beaches, restaurants and bus stop etc The apartments and the pool area are kept extremely clean. We were so well looked after by the owners and really didn't want to leave. We will be back !"

"A wonderful 10 night stay at Margi House. Bed was very comfortable. Air con was blissful. Cleaned really well daily with fresh towels. Swimming pool was exceptional. Loads of sunbeds & cleaned daily. Andreas at Margi House was exceptional. Ordering taxis and giving us lots of local knowledge The free nespresso coffee was bonus. A few bars/restaurants within easy walking that were great. "

"Nicos, Katrina, Alexandra, Maria looked after us with pleasure, smile and friendly conversations. The property is perfect for us , 2 adults and 14 yr old daughter. The beach and restaurants were within 5 to 10mins walk. Supermarkets locally and the marina also. Breakfasts were excellent, wholesome and leisurely. "

"Ensure you contact the host in advance to arrange a check in time as this is not clear in the confirmation email. Even so, we were disappointed that we had to wait almost an hour to enter the room, despite emailing our arrival time, as the owner had decided to go to the beach. Otherwise, the owner was helpful. The rooms are in a beautiful terraced area and clean."

"The apartment was excellent - clean, comfortable and very well equipped with air conditioning and a large balcony. The location is brilliant, close to all the restaurants, shops, the harbour and buses to the beaches. Marietta, the owner, is very attentive, helpful and a lovely person who seems to go the extra mile for her guests. I would definitely stay at Polykratis again if I return to Skiathos - which is a beautiful island. "

"Great location for access to Skiathos town. Staff were friendly welcoming and helpful. Apartment was large clean and adequate for us. The bathroom had a good shower in a walk in cubicle. The bed was large and comfy. Plenty of wardrobe space. Continental breakfast was served in the apartment on a daily basis. Didn’t use the pool facility so can’t really comment on that. We used it as a base to drive to the beaches around the island. The property had its own car park. This was across the road from the property but easy to find and use. There are approximately 50 steps from the road to the reception. Not a problem for us but might be for some older persons. Staff are on hand to help with luggage on arrival and departure. The description of some of the facilities/amenities needs updating on the Expedia site. Would definitely stay again. "
