Great location , lovely hotel booked the most basic room & it was fine, spa was lovely, underground bar was cool & restaurant food was lovely, surrounding area was beautiful & so much history. Would & have recommended for a overnight stay.

Nice property in the old town, walkable to train station and sights. Classic style room. TV vey glitchy, which normally wouldn’t matter except I wanted to watch Roland Garros. Really good restaurant!

Very nice property, the nicest out of the other Originals hotels we have stayed in. The spa and massage facilities and services were great. The hot breakfast buffet was a plus. The restaurant was a little expensive, landing between bistro and fine dining but not clear as to which it wanted to be. The receptionist who checked us in and out was great.

Lovely hotel Provins

Lovely hotel in the middle of Provins. Good sized room, excellent breakfast (extra). Lovely evening meal on Sunday night when all other restaurants closed. Very nice outdoor hotel seating area for coffee or drinks as well. Staff very friendly although, despite sign saying all Reception staff spoke English, one member made it difficult for us and having offered the final bill, without showing the breakdown, had to refund cash for charging an additional breakfast which we didn't take on one of the mornings.

Lovely hotel, with all the quirky charm of an old establishment, but including modern cons. Guest room 224 was perfect. Up 2 flights of stairs (no lift in this part of the hotel) in a quiet corner, spacious with comfortable king bed and high-end bedding, a window with nice view of some old town buildings, two skylights and a nice sitting area, Original A-frame rafters (so high ceiling) and a pristine, spacious bathroom. The bathtub with both faucet and handheld shower wand was superb – good water pressure, spacious bath for relaxing, and fluffy absorbent towels. No washcloths or face cloths, however. In room 224 there was a kettle with tea & instant coffee. 2 bottles of water were provided. The AC worked. The staff agreed to store small items in their refrigerator for us. It would’ve been convenient (and it seems a standard offering of any hotel these days) to have a small fridge in the room. One does not want to run down to staff for every access to their items. The reception and service from staff was exactly what one would hope for. Make sure you get a map of the area at reception – there are English as well as French versions and they are indispensable for navigating the small town and appreciating what you are seeing. Provins is an authentic, medieval village, nicer in our view, than Aigues Mort or St-Paul de Vence, if you have been to either. You must view the Tour Cesar and large church behind it lit up at night. We recommend this hotel.

Provins was the trading center of France centuries ago. A must to see the past. Hotel Ramparts is right in the center of actives but quiet and enjoyable with lovely indoor and outdoor terrace eating and drinking. The underground area has been turned into a relaxing bar area. Private parking a plus.

Very good....but!

Easy to find, right in the middle of the old town. Staff were pleasant at check in and the rooms were spacious and well furnished. However Room 301 stank of cigarette smoke, there is only one flat pillow person on the bed, no refrigerator in the room and no milk with the supplied tea/coffee. Small details but they could be remedied quite easily. It is not a budget hotel. Breakfast had a huge choice of good quality food.

We recently stayed at this hotel, and while the location was convenient, just outside the Main Street in the charming little town, our experience was marred by several issues. The breakfast, although available, was limited in options and overpriced. Moreover, our daughter discovered some unclean items under her bed, which was concerning. The air conditioning was also insufficient, only cooling the main room, leading to sweltering conditions on the second floor where our kids slept, causing them to wake up uncomfortable. Additionally, the property did not have a swimming pool, contrary to the pictures, and our 12-year-old was not permitted to use the jacuzzi. Overall, our stay was disappointing.

Leuk dat er een gratis parking is. Heel typisch hotel in oude gebouwen, zeer aangenaam restaurant met vriendelijke bediening. Mooie spa. Ontbijt met lekker vers fruitsappen anders wel basic ontbijt. Een absolute aanrader om de oude stad te verkennen

Il y a une tache de chocolat par terre dans la chambre. Il y a seulement les serviettes et baignoire pour une personne, et on avait demandé deuxième, qui n’est pas faite apres une deuxième demande, pas très professionnel.

Un charmant hôtel avec un très bon restaurant

Les travaux se terminent pour l'heure espace spa privatif et payant. L'accès à une piscine était gratuit et représentait un plus par rapport aux autres hôtels des alentours. Voir si cette stratégie sera payante à l'avenir. En attendant, notre séjour dans cet hôtel a été impeccable. Chambre spacieuse, petit-déjeuner offrant un choix très satisfaisant, restaurant sur place le soir avec une carte très correcte. Si vous restez plusieurs jours, vous pouvez également trouver d'autres restaurants dans la ville basse pour varier les plaisirs.

Trop cher pour ce que c est cet hôtel interrupteur des couloirs cassés et aucun à coté de l ascenseur la tv minuscule et la télécommande fonctionnait une fois sur dix à l accueil pas très aimable on a connu mieux pour 100 e . On s est tapait 30mn à pied de la ville basse pour être mal reçu par la dame à l accueil .... Bon si on revient ça sera en dehors du marché de Noël ou du festival !! Pour mieux apprécier la ville !!! Par contre la dame a l accueil du matin le lendemain super agréable !!!!

À plus de 250€ la chambre on s’attend à une chambre avec des prestations de qualité. L’accueil par l’hôtesse était très peu aimable et la chambre présentait des prestations moyennes et avons eu même droit à une chambre en réparation avec un panneau de contre plaque peint et un mdf dans la baignoire ??? L’emplacement est parfait mais la nuitée bien trop chère

Ok si prix bas

Heureusement que nous avons eu la chambre durant une période où les prix étaient bas, sinon j'aurais été hyper déçue du standing. La chambre tradition était spacieuse et très propre, bien qu'il y avait une prise électrique totalement sortie du mur (dangereux pour les enfants) et un gros panneau en bois cache misère au mur abimé... accueil désagréable par une des femmes de l'accueil, qui s'était trompée sur le débit de ma carte et avait d'office mis dans la facture des petits déjeuners jamais pris ni mentionnés, mais le reste du personnel était vraiment charmant. J'ai bien dormi mais mon compagnon a eu mal au dos avec le matelas. Isolation assez mauvaise, bruit de canalisations et des gens qui parlent. Ce qui a fait notre satisfaction était le spa qui est vraiment super, à noter que l'accès est d'1h15 en tarif supplémentaire, ce qui n'est pas précisé sur Hotels.com !!

Uitstap naar de middeleeuwen

Voor ons geen 4 sterren accommodatie. Kamers netjes poetsen kunnen ze hier niet goed . Vanaf 2 overnachtingen heb je recht op gratis toegang tot de spa . Dat werd ons echter niet verteld. Trouwens €19 pp voor de spa voor een uur heb ik nog nooit meegemaakt in een 4* Ontbijt is goed maar weinig variatie.
