"Room was clean, except we had to request for the air conditioner to be adjusted because we had no heat. They did exchanged the air conditioner unit but still didn't work. We chose not to move from that room because to much to move. It was only one more night. Overall it was good."

"This hotel is over priced with its current condition. They are presently under renovations. Construction goes from 8 am to 5 pm every day. The rooms are dated and dirty with mold in the shower and curling walllpaper. There are no amenities and parking is an additional charge 35.00 a night. Considering the current state of the hotel they could provide free water but that’s 3.00 dollars a bottle as well. Towels and bedding is thread-bare. I would say location is close to the highways and major downtown restaurants and clubs which was the only redeeming thing during my stay. There are other hotels in the vicinity cheaper and well managed. "

"Not happy with check in process. Won’t let you check in before even if your room is ready. They only let you check in if you pay $30 extra dollars. It’s outrageous. I have NEVER seen this before. Rip off. Would not go back because of that alone. "

"Room is very clean. Bed is comfortable. We are fam of 4, two adults and two teens, really enjoys the hotel for two nights visit to Providence. 7 minutes to shopping center. We love the breakfast. We will come back here again . "

"A downtown location with a fun and historic vibe. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The speakeasy bar had wonderful cocktails and a friendly bartender. Overall, good experience with helpful staff members. "

"The Marriot Providence is a very nice place to stay. Gratis afternoon wine and apps and morning coffee in lobby an added plus. Staff helpful and Blue Fin restaurant were ex- ceptional. Only complaint was some difficulty accessing internet in our room which caused me to access an important voice message on my phone. All in all recommend! "

"Looks like this hotel is fairly new to the downtown area in Providence It was very clean the staff are very nice beautiful decor there's a taco restaurant on the side of the hotel and they have a beautiful rooftop lounge where you order a small bites. The only drawback is that they don't offer hot breakfast only sandwiches and then you have to order them through an online kiosk and then give it to the front desk and they bring it down for you. So a lot of inconvenience steps to get breakfast but there are lots of diners that are with a walking distance. "
