"Decent hotel in a very convenient location. There was one afternoon that the hot water wasn't working, and the rooms are a bit dated, but overall it was great for the price range. Next time I come to Progreso, I might aim a little nicer, but if I ended up in Hotel Playa Linda again, I wouldn't be upset at all."

"We had a wonderful stay in Progreso! The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. One of the best parts was the beautiful beach view — waking up and seeing the ocean was amazing! We also really enjoyed the pool area, which was clean, relaxing, and perfect after spending time at the beach. Overall, it was a very pleasant and relaxing experience. Great location, beautiful views, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Progreso! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"One block from the beach, good restaurants, a convinience store nearby. We were there for R&R so this was a great spot. The reason I gave, one particular staff at check-in a poor rating is because I had to argue with the guy to give me the room I had paid for. He wanted to give a room next to the small pool on the first floor although I had paid for ocean view. We argued a bit more and one of his co-workers stepped in and helped resolve and clarify the situation. The two women in the morning get excellent rating. They were helpful, friendly and even recomended a good restaurant the in the town over. Cleaning staff also excellent."
