The area was very noisy and dirty, the TV did not turn off, the sink faucet was loose, the phone to the office did not work, the sheets were polyester, the lock on the door was broken, the entrance was dangerous off of Route 1, the room fan did not run continuously - the whole experience was not good.

We made the reservation one year ago because this was an high demand week. Upon arrival, the person at the front desk told us our reservation was cancelled (he admitted the hotel had overbooked) and when we had to rebook, the price almost doubled. The room was unclean and smelled strongly of smoke even though we booked a non-smoking room. We definitely will not stay there again and would not recommend this motel to anyone.

Although inexpensive, it was noisy, I could smell the cigarette smoke from the people outside talking most of the night. The AC was rattling, the bathroom was unclean and had holes in the wall. The guy at the front desk was pleasant though

NJ Red Roof

Strong smell of pineal, sticky floor, no hair dryer, loud visitors outside late at night. Did not feel safe in neighborhood Very nice management.

The air in the room was musty, and this was covered over by turning the air conditioning very high. It didn't smell clean and fresh. Everything else was quite clean.

It was OK. Typical motel, decent place to shower and rest for the night - rooms were clean, staff was friendly. There were a few issues (cigarette smoke smell due to multiple ash trays outside of room doors, loud neighbors, limited channels, front desk ran out of towels & washcloths), but at this pricepoint ($74/night) - I feel we got our moneys worth.
