Hotel Dekat Preston Beach

"Clean and new room. Staff was nice and helpful. Downside of being so close to the highway is LOTS of traffic noise. Worst part was the mattress. For being such a nice new place, it doesnt make sense why they have such cheap junk mattresses. We ended up sleeping on the futon in our room because it was so horribly uncomfortable. Its 2026, who even uses spring mattresses anymore?"

"Once I figured out the no-staff check in process, everything was perfect."

"The overall tone of the hotel was excellent. The pool was a real bonus especially with their 24 hour plan. Breakfast was the only bummer and it was what you would expect for a hotel breakfast just not 5 star. Staff was pleasant and for the most part helpful although we had a little snafu about our rooms and one of the desk clerks tried to check in someone else while we were still in the room. The room was clean and well appointed but no roll in shower for handicap and no shower bench. We made...

"Had a great stay!"

"The room was super clean The heater was pretty loud. The ceiling fan in bathroom needed dusting but everything else was very nice! Would stay again. Good location. Jimmy’s on the street very good"

"Everything was good; however, I do believe the room attendants need to ensure all products needed for the stay are present for guests use. Kleenex T/P"

"Beautiful, clean, worth the trip. Fantastic free breakfast. Welcoming staff. Definitely a must stay!"

"The hotel was having a roof replaced during our stay. It was quite loud in the morning. The hotel has very thin doors- you could hear everything happening in the hallway. It suited us well for our overnight stay. It wasn’t terrible, just wasn’t great either."

"Amazing managers and staff are willing to make your stay special ❤️❤️"

"Our rooms were clean and nicely furnished. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Convenient location and parking."

"Good: Everything was VERY clean; unusually comfortable beds for a hotel-wonderful; 4 pillows per bed; pleasant, helpful staff; check-in and -out were smooth and quick. Bad: Proximity to 95 made for a somewhat noisy night; breakfast was sparse, with coffee and pancake machines and cellophane-wrapped egg sandwiches in a cooler."

"I wish all the rooms were decorated to fit the 1900 house. Our room was modernly decorated, felt like I was in a regular hotel room. Other than that disappointment, everything else was wonderful."

"Clean and comfy. The downtown main street is adjacent to the property so you can hear the fancy hotrids down the street but only when the weather is nice. Didn't see any staff but left the check in info at the office since we checked in late. Thanks!"
