The property was nice and breakfast was great. They let us check in early since the room was ready. One downside is there wasn’t a do not disturb if you didn’t want them coming in your room. Staff was friendly too.

Great stay
Helpful receptionist and quiet, central location. The room had all the basic necessities for a solo traveler. Breakfast in the mornings was delicious.

The breakfast menu was very tasty, the bedroom was always clean, tidy and warm, as well as the bed, which was very comfortable. Also, the shared areas were quite pleasing as they had a social And welcoming environment to them.

Very central to a lot of landmarks, no where too far away. Place was very clean, staff were very helpful, food was delicious. Would definitely stay again!

Convenient, clean, safe, welcoming.
It was convenient to Old Prague without being noisy. It felt safe. My room was small but clean, and the front desk staff was very nice, giving me advice on what to see.

Rent the apartment not the dorm room!
Definitely rent the apartment as the other rooms are just dorm hostel rooms with no air conditioning. The apartment is fantastic! The people are so nice and the area is perfect!

Dear Ellen, thank you for your feedback. Regarding the rooms, you are not right, because all the house is hostel, the apartments too. Half of the rooms are with air conditioning and half with the fan. Just 2 rooms are dorm, all other are private. All informaiton you can se on the internet. Lovely hotel
This is really nice hotel! In fact ,I would love to stay one more time. I had great time here. My English not really well. I have no idea about hotels.com systems for this booking . I was worried one problem about my stay charge. Because was collecting my reservation 10 nights and got one free night for it.

Great Location especially around Christmas!
Great location, within walking distance of many landmarks and great areas of Prague including multiple of the major "Squares" that were a fun around Christmas time. Not right on top of them though so it is quite enough to relax and be able to sleep well. Breakfast was also great. Highly recommend!

The Old Prague House is okay for a family stay. Unfortunately our bedroom had the door and two windows to the breakfast area. So, I had very little privacy and had to keep the curtains closed all the time.

This hotel is perfectly located, a few minutes walk from the astronomical clock , the Charles Bridge, and everything. The breakfast is simple but fresh, ( breads, cereals, ham and hard boiled eggs.The hotel has a part that is a hostel, hence you may use the fridge in the common room if needs be. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. There is no AC, but a very useful fan, although as the window is facing an interior courtyard where all tenants can sit and relax, it may be noisy at night. Bring your adaptor if you come from North america as all the plugs are europeans.

You could read this information in our terms and conditions. We also send everyone a welcome letter and a voucher, where it is mentioned again. Fantastic Find!
This is more luxurious than expected given that it was listed under "HOSTELS". There was a lovely sense of privacy as well. We arrived in Prague by train and found the hotel very easily. It is very close to the Charles Bridge and less than 10 minutes walk from Wencelas Square.The staff on reception were really helpful and offered advice about good bars and restaurants to look out for.

Close to everything and on a budget. This restored old house is gorgeous and completely redone with old school charm to it. I’d stay there in a heartbeat but the staff could learn to greet their patrons and not look at us as if we’re a bother. People working there wouldn’t even say good morning at breakfast, very unpleasant.

Nice hostel and close to Charles bridge
The room is clean and housekeeping every day. Free breakfast is good. Close to attractions. The hostel check-in time ended at 7pm but we arrived after 7pm. We requested the airport taxi from hostel and the driver waited for us even though the flight was delayed. The hostel made the arrangement with the driver and we got our room key from the driver. The hostel staff and driver are helpful. Happy with this trip.

Central tourist location
This place is as advertised. It's a hotel/hostel that is clean, safe, quiet and friendly. I had a private room and it had all that I needed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok - would suit most tastes. I would stay here again. PS- 3 minute walk to Charles bridge and tons of food options both street food and restaurants.

Stayed 10 days, grestblocation, rooms clean and comfortable, breakfast included, staff helpful, nice restaurant next door and was a small store. 5 minutes from Charles bridge, close to staromestke namesti and orloj, about 30 minute walk up the hill to hradcany. You can get airport pickup and drop off, just ask for service. Price amazing, why spend more. The only problem at least in room 2, some tv channels were pixelated and really didn't work. Other than that, excellent. Miss talking to the brunette.

Their reception hours are from 7:00 AM to 7:00PM.
The hotel is conveniently located in the town and site seeing places are within walking distance. The reception staffs were very nice and pleasant. They provided general information for site seeing. Breakfast was good and as we left early in the morning, they packed breakfast for us.

Loved it!
When we booked this Hotel we expected cheap food, and more or less clean bedrooms. When we got there we realized our mistake: Amazing breakfast and everything was really clean! The beds were made every day and the staff was incredibly nice. The best thing was, that it was close to really every main attraction in Prague.

Comfy clean friendly!
Had a great stay in Prague here, the hotel is very close to Charles bridge and the old town. The room is clean and comfy and bathroom kept spotless. Staff work really hard to keep things ticking over. The staff are very friendly, when I checked out early before breakfast they prepared and left a meal for me in the fridge which was fantastic. Highly Recommended.

Small but great value hotel, great location
I spent four nights in this hotel with three friends. We booked a single room to accommodate all of us for a very reasonable price, and were surprised at how much room there was, there were actually two bedrooms and a very large bathroom. The hotel doesn't look much from the outside but inside the rooms were immaculate and very well presented- service was good and our room was tidied every day and towels/toiletries replenished appropriately- even if we left after lunch. The staff were very friendly and attentive, spent time talking to us about what to see and do, making recommendations and providing some really useful vouchers to get money off attractions or free drinks (with a purchase) at local bars, etc. Also I would suggest making use of the Hotel's taxi agreement, they can arrange transport to and from the airport for a much more reasonable price than you'll get by making the arrangements yourself (as we found after getting our own taxi from the airport before realising the hotel offered a service). Only downside was that the room we had opened up directly into the breakfast dining room and reception area, which meant a lot of noise from 7am until 10am right outside the door- not too much an issue if you're an early riser out exploring first thing but not so great when you're nursing a hangover from the night before thanks to Prague's fantastic nightlife!

Horrible experience. They want to make you believe this is a 3 star hotel but its really an hostel with smelly rooms. Not recommended, you could get much better at this price.

We would like to respond to this review, which is untrue and sadly offends us. We do not let our guests believe, we are a 3 star hotel. Everywhere we say we are a hostel. Even on the Expedia portal. The fact that a guest does not read the information unfortunately leads to disappointment. We are very sorry that despite the desire for everyone to feel at home, there is someone who is not only dissatisfied, but also uses words for which we are very sorry. As for the rooms, they are certainly not stinking. The rooms are cleaned and washed daily and well ventilated. Team Old Prague House
