Fantastic hotel
Amazing hotel. The room was spacious and modern, everything was clean and tidy. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. I would definitly recommend this hotel.

Conveniently located between the old and new city. Subway station very close. Room was modern. Bedding was comfortable. Room overlooked busy street but windows were double paned, so very little noise from the bustle below. Note... this property does not have 24 hour front desk.

The staff is wonderful and so kind. The hotel is located in the most perfect location in our opinion. We walked everywhere for 5 full days and never got bored. Breakfast is quite big, and we felt bad not finishing each day (due to Covid, they prepared fresh plate for each of us each day, instead of self-service buffet). Our room was large and comfortable. It has a cute balcony and blackout curtains were perfect to sleep in the middle of the city. If we could be picky, we would have preferred faster Wifi as it was hard for us to work (but we were there on vacation so can't complain). It would have also helped to have more storage as we prefer to not have things on surface. Toilet was unique and slightly uncomfortable (tilted forward by a few degrees and large seating hole with thin seating area) for us, but most people probably wouldn't notice. So again, these are slightest issues. And we really truly loved our stay! We highly recommend this hotel!

Best European hotel I've stayed in!
This hotel was absolutely wonderful and located within 30 steps of Wenceslas Square. The room was comfortable, clean and modern. The staff was terrific. They were very friendly and helpful and all spoke English very well. At one point, we decided to stay an extra night so we informed one of the staff members. She simply said ok and took care of it without any extra paperwork or hastle. The hotel has very few rooms so the staff are very good at taking care of individual needs and requests. So, the only minor problem we encountered was the noise of inebriated people and the loud music from sundown until about 6 AM. In my experience, downtown Prague is a party-all-night kind of city which does not favor those who would actually like to get some sleep. But given the proximity of the hotel to Wenceslas square, I suppose that is to be expected. Either way, the hotel was fantastic and would absolutely stay there again. Next time I think i will request a higher floor to reduce my proximity to the noise.

Great location, extremely walkable to the old town, Charles Bridge, and other tourist spots. Breakfast was a great way to start the day, typical European breakfast with bread, cheese, ham, eggs, and fruit. Atmosphere is cozy on the first floor and chic in the rooms.

Great spot to be
Great location! This is a small boutique hotel thats very customer oriented. The buffet breakfast had a lot of variety and was delicious. They even had bubbly out if you wanted a mimosa. There was street noise at night, but I think that comes with the great location

Cute hotel, but very loud street noise 1st floor
This is a very nice boutique hotel with large rooms and a very good breakfast but the noise from the night club across the street from our room was almost unbearable. We wore ear plugs but were still woken up several times a night Thurs-Sun.

Amazing service.
Our stay was excellent. Their service started before we arrived. By scheduling a taxi pick up from the airport and giving us directions to the hotel if we decided to take other means of transportation. Unfortubately ine if our bags did not arrive and the hotel staff was kind enough to call and keep us updated on the status. Luckily it arrived the next day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there and recommend the hotel

Our room was very large, comfortable, and clean. Lovely buffet breakfast served every morning was great. Location of this hotel was super. Close to metro, but very close to Old Town Sq, with easy walk to Charles Bridge. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Would stay again.

Highly recommended in Prague
I stayed at Hotel Jungmann for 5 days for a business trip to Prague. Everything was perfect. The hotel was very comfortable. It was newly, and tastefully renovated in a great location- steps from Mustek metro A and B station, tons of tram lines, and old town square and all Prague has to offer. The rooms are air conditioned and large. The nespresso machine in the room is a nice touch and the free breakfast every morning is excellent. Highly recommend for your next trip to Prague.

Exceeded all of my expectations!
I'm really happy I decided to stay at Hotel Jungmann after an exhaustive search of hotels in Old Town. I wanted to be within walking distance to all of the local attractions such as Old Town Square and Charles Bridge yet wanted a hotel which was updated/modern, safe, and clean. Hotel Jungmann exceeded all of my expectations! I had a room on the 5th floor which was very spacious and seemed to have been just remodeled. The staff was pleasant and so helpful (they even let me borrow a charger for my iphone during my stay). Lots of options at breakfast, easy check in and check out at the front desk; overall, a really great stay and I would highly recommend it!

We've travelled to 6 cities, 8 three to four star hotels and this was the worst (and it's rated as a four star???). On arriving we had to park down the street because the hotel is in a square, not near parking. This caused issues, but remedied by a local parking lot. Once up to the room, it was nice, clean but on the first floor facing the square. It was so loud during the day, but at night a night club across the square hammered beats till 4am. We asked to change the room (nope), we asked for a fan to at least drown out the noise (nope), and they said they'd do something and wait for them in our room. Never came. The morning included breakfast-a oily egg, boxed juice and cereal and warm milk. When we asked for crepes (which they offered) we got eyes rolled, watches looked at and enviably no. Oh, and for 3 days stay, you get 1 water, and 1 coffee in your room. Nothing more, except cheap soap and shampoo. Finally, after all that, they then collected an exorbitant tax on our departure. "city tax"-what a joke. BOHO was the same price and after looking at it we kick ourselves for not booking there.

Hello, I'm responding to your review, the only thing I'm sorry about, I don't know your name or booking, in this case it would be easier then some of the problems to solve .As far as parking is concerned, we really don't have that, but we inform you of that already after accepting the book.Our hotel is downtown, the noise is usually there at night and not only on one side, but on the other side are the bars, but that's probably in every centre of a bigger city, still believe it. About breakfast and some another things ,Im very sorry.Soaps and shampoons on the rooms are really not cheap and are very good.And the last city tax is normal think everywhere ,thats not joke sorry. This hotel is perfect in every respect- it is in the city center, located right next to a metro stop, has comfortable air conditioned rooms, the staff is great, great breakfast, basically everything you could want in a hotel!

Small but perfectly formed hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spotlessly clean and large. The huge rainfall shower also had a separate hand shower. Coffee machine with some capsules. Safe, mini-bar, desk, armchair, huge comfortable bed and large flat screen TV. Not many English speaking channels that I could find. The buffet breakfast is served in a very nice small basement restaurant. The food and selection is the best I have ever seen or experienced. Fantastic location being only a few minutes walk away from the Clock Tower / Old Town square but is still quiet at night. The metro is only a few steps away. This is an excellent hotel and is recommended without hesitation.

Perfect City Break
We had emails direct from the Jungmann confirming our booking, then to offer transport from the airport (with fixed price). Although we now know, the public transport (Bus and Metro) is outstanding, cheap and easy to use and will bring you to within 50yrds of the Hotel! We checked in early with no problem. Room was fresh, bright and elegant. We were lucky enough to have the only room with a balcony. Staff were amazingly helpful and polite. English was not a problem! Breakfast was typically continental with some hot choices available and was more than adequate to set you up for the day. Location was perfect. Not far from the main Wenceslas Square and to all the other places of interest in Prague.

Fantastic stay!
Super convenient location just steps away from public transport and Wenceslas Square. The staff is very kind and welcoming. The room was large and very clean. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding! Great find!

Great hotel right in the centre of things, room was large, stylish and very comfortable. Situated convenient for access to all areas of the city, 5 mins walk to Old Town Square, less than a minute to Wecleslass Square and handy for all the main sights in Prague. Hotel was very clean, personal and the breakfast was great. Will definitely stay here again on our return to the city. Many thanks for a great stay.

We have recently stayed at Jungmann for a 5 day visit to Prague. The hotel was quiet,very clean and comfortable and centrally placed so that we could walk to most attractions we visited. The breakfast was very generous.

Great place to stay in Prague
Absolutely loved this place. It’s close to a lot of the main tourist destinations you want to go to. The castle is a little further afield, but you can take the tram or walk - we walked there and back and it wasn’t far! Super comfy, lovely staff, great cafe downstairs. If we ever came back we’d definitely stay here again.

Much too short stay in Prague
Jungmann is an 8 room hotel on a pedestrian mall in the Old Town area of Prague. Service excellent-every request was accommodated. Prague is a walking city - prepare to be either tired or miss a lot. Stay for a few days and see the sights. CZ is a proud country and has accomplished more than I imagined possible. Enjoy.

Small and friendly hotel.
This is a small and friendly hotel. We stayed in room 204 which was exceptionally bright and spacious. There was a very personal feel to the hotel and it is centrally located. The beds and pillows are comfortable too.

Great hotel choice with caring staff
A small hotel big big on getting things right. Great rooms that are very large. Breakfast was great and the staff exceptional. We had an early morning train and the wonderful women at the front desk offered to cook us breakfast early. When back to Prague we will for sure stay here. My only Negative comments are the beds were not the most comfortable and street noice on the rear of building can be bothersome.
