Room was huge and lovely themed décor. Having a fridge was a real bonus as we could store our own drinks and food. The beds were comfortable although the kids bed was a pull out sofa meaning they had to share. The bathroom was lovely but lacked a shower. There was a shower head beside the bath but it was not at standing height and you had to remove from the holder to use it. There was also no shower curtain so this meant showering wasn’t an option we had to have baths. Not hugely problematic for us but those with any mobility issue would struggle due to the awkward nature of having steps up to the bath and the tub being quite deep.
The reception staff were excellent, spoke great English and were very helpful and welcoming. One of the breakfast staff was less helpful. Communication was difficult (our issue as we do not speak Czech) and there were problems with breakfast which were hard to translate (no bowls for cereal, lack of cutlery and cold food due to hot plate not being turned on). It also didn’t help that she spent the whole time talking on her mobile phone. The second and third mornings were much better at breakfast with a different staff member. Breakfasts are basic but perfectly adequate.
