"We had a great stay here. It is a small resort, so there's not a lot of activity going on, if that's something you're looking for. Being a small resort, you get to know the staff and other guests, which made for a great experience. Emmanuel at the pool bar was awesome!! Geovanny at the tour desk was also great and helpful with so many things. Also, there was no issue getting deck chairs any time of the day. The rooms are nice and clean and well maintained. The resort looks like it's been around for a while, so there is some wear and tear, but overall, the resort is well maintained, with really nice grounds. The food was good all week, but the buffet was the only real option. There was the ability to get things ordered (like sandwiches, burgers, fries). We did not go hungry. The beach is right at the resort and is nice and sandy. It's darker sand, but wasn't too hot on the feet. It is a public beach that is accessed through a gate, but it is quiet and you don't get bothered by people trying to sell things and resort has loungers that can be put out on the beach for you. Overall, a great experience."

"This resort was exactly what we wanted! A quiet, local Costa Rican culture resort that offered beautiful beach views, with great hospitality, and lots of activities and excursions to do if you wanted. If you’re looking for a five star luxurious party experience, this is not your resort. This was laid-back, amazing people, close to local amenities, great off resort food options, and close to the airport. We were there in a bit of the off-season so some options were a little limited and we were totally OK with it. The resort is older, but it was clean and had everything we needed to make our experience a memorable one. I would hands-down go to this resort anytime, especially if you’re looking to travel on a budget and and save some cash for other Costa Rican experiences. "

"From my arrival to my departure, the staff was incredible! Warm, welcoming and friendly staff! I originally requested an ocean view room, however I was in the upper part of the resort. A near section overlooking the main pool. I even had my own private swimming pool just off my room! Newer rooms with beautiful bathroom and walk in shower! Great restaurant overlooking the ocean and a very well maintained beach, featuring horseback riding, fishing, catamaran rides, etc. I highly recommend this place and I know I will be back to this place again!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #puravida"

"Stayed 3 nights- definitely feel it should have a higher rating than a 3 star hotel - we were in a deluxe room - very spacious - modern and clean. Grounds are beautifully landscaped and staff were very friendly. The free breakfast was great as well as the entertainment options! I would stay here again."
