"This place has nothing to do with the pictures of this app. Has rotten walls and doors, needs lots of repairing. Besides, it is very dark, tiny and there is an heavy smell inside. The owner even did not bother paying for a name sign. I also put responsibility on hotels.com for providing this option on its portfolio. In short, we unfortunately had to forget about the money we paid and stayed in another place."

"We couldn’t fault our stay with Virginia Hotel . Even though only 2 nights we were pleasantly surprised from start to finish . Housekeeping was daily , fresh towels amenities replenished n staff were super good & efficient. We checked in very late at night n were worried if there would be anyone there @ midnight . Sofia greeted us, checked us in ran thru procedures professionally n confidently . Breakfast was plentiful & good variety . We were attended by Anna , made us feel like family and helped with the surrounds of the town & pointed places for us to see . She had a great sense of humour, chatted to all guests & if they wanted anything else she was happy to arrange. Hats of to her The Virginia Hotel is lucky to have staff that are dedicated to their jobs especially Anna … wish I could stay I’ll be back , age prevails but I’ll definitely recommend this hotel in Samos . Anna & Ennio from Sydney Australia"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Kontemare Seascape. The villa was spotless, beautifully designed, luxurious, and very practical for a family stay. Everything felt new, clean, and well taken care of. The private pool and air conditioning made the stay extremely comfortable, and the beach is only about 100 steps away. Balos Beach was a wonderful surprise: peaceful, quiet, uncrowded, and beautiful. There are also several restaurants nearby, and every place we tried was excellent. The whole area has a calm, relaxing, authentic feeling. This was one of the most peaceful and comfortable stays of our trip. We slept very well, enjoyed the pool and the sea, and would happily come back. One small suggestion: because the villa is surrounded by nature, the pool can collect insects/leaves quickly. It was clean when we arrived, but by the next morning it needed attention again, so slightly more frequent pool cleaning would make the experience even better. Overall, a beautiful villa in a very special and peaceful location. Highly recommended."
