Place was beautiful, quiet, and relaxing relief from Camino. Host was very helpful, insightful, and kind. Would recommend to any pilgrims looking for some extraordinary.

This property is located 10-15min walk from Portomarin. Surrounding area is very quiet. Restaurant is amazing, and my friend room had excellent view.

Great place! Wonderful staff. I didn’t know to call and it is a little out of the way. They will pick you up. Be sure to do that. They also drop you off at start of Camino in the morning a real bonus! They even washed and dried my laundry. Best place I’ve stayed on my Camino since Sahagun.

What a wonderful and lovely stay! Everything was lovely—sparkling room, very comfortable bed, a great, quiet night’s sleep after a healthy and delicious evening meal afer a 32km hike. Tranquil, peaceful, lovely rural setting—beautiful stars and a lovely, nesrly full moon to greet me before a good and simple breakfast. The proprietor and her daughter are absolute gems. A wee bit off the Way (1.5km) but a fantastic sleep and stay—gracias, muchos gracias!

Lovely property a bit outside from the town's centre. Unspoilt nature directly by the lake. Exceptional views and lovely grounds with apple orchards and a stunning Galician stone building. Rooms are simple but clean and personal, family touch. English from staff could be better, hospitality was second to none and I felt very welcomed. Also a big thank you to Mario (the owner) who gave me a lift to the church in the morning. Will definitely come back when I walk the camino again!

El sitio se encuentra a las afueras de Portomarin pero por esta razón el personal se presta a acercarte y recogerte al pueblo en todo momento lo que hace que puedas disfrutar de un entorno tranquilo en la naturaleza a la vez que sin alejarte de la zona de restauración del pueblo. Mario, tanto padre como hijo, unas personas excepcionales que saben cómo manejar bien este increíble entorno. Como negativo, solo la habitación de al lado, mucho ruido en horas de descanso que nos obligó a llamarles la atención una vez pero nada que achacar a Santa Mariña.

Me encanto todo, retirado pero te recojen en el pueblo. Ideal para disfrutar unos dias de tranquilidad, tambien para el peregrino. El chico joven muy amable, bueno en general todo el personal y muy atentos.

La mejor casa rural
Como peregrinos en el Camino De Santiago buscábamos un lugar tranquilo para descansar después de la primera etapa. La casa rural Santa Mariña fue un deseo hecho realidad. Con paz, viñedos y huerta, un equipo que nos acogió con cariño y simpatía. La cena, riquísima. Y el vino de Mencia de sus propios viñedos, delicioso (compramos dos botellas para llevar). Un desayuno abundante (incluyendo pan sin gluten) y servicio de transporte hasta la entrada del Camino. 5 estrellas!
