"Lovely location and room sea view was spectacular over the rock pools which were lovely to swim in. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful and also gave us a packed breakfast/lunch when we had to head out early on tours. The roof top pool, sauna and jacuzzi were lovely to relax in at the end of a packed day. Only downside is the infrequent public transport to Funchal so you will need to catch Bolts so end up pricey.
