The Loacation is Amazing!

The loacation is amazing! Nice hotel and the bed was very comfortable. That said, they definately have room for improvement. Breakfast area was very disorganized and the employees appreared very overwhelmed. And the layout of our room was much different than the photos online and did not make sense. The TV block our amazing view of the river, which was very disappointing.

Já fiquei várias vezes neste hotel. Novo, ótima localização com vista para o Rio Guaíba, em frente ao Parque Pontal e Barra Shopping. No mesmo complexo fica o Hard Rock Café, 20barra9 restaurante e shopping Pontal. Super recomendo.

Maravilhosa

O Hotel tem uma bela vista para a região do Pontal na orla do Guaíba, fica de fácil acesso ao Barra Shopping Sul e também ao Iberê Camargo. O café da manhã é excelente e bem diversificado. Os quartos bem espaçosos e com calefação. O atendimento bem cuidadoso com o cliente.

Hotel muito bom, quando fui estavam com algumas reformas impossibilitando o acesso para a área da piscina. O restaurante deixa muito a desejar e não recomendo, mesmo com pouco movimento demoraram quase 20 minutos para vir me atender na mesa. Pedi uma salada e uma água, após mais de 1 hora do pedido questionei se demoraria e só então me trouxeram a água, passados mais 20 minutos (1:20 do pedido) questionei sobre a salada e o garçom falou que ainda não estava pronta pedindo desculpas, solicitei o cancelamento do pedido e fui em outro restaurante. O garçom no pedido de desculpas informou que a água seria cortesia pelo tempo de espera sem atendimento do meu pedido, entretanto, para minha surpresa ao fazer o check out me cobraram a água. Serviço de manobrista também é demorado, ao chegar pela dínamica do hotel fiquei procurando alguém para pegar meu veículo, passado um tempo localizei o manobrista sentado e desatento de costas para a porta de entrada. Hotel muito bonito e localização excelente para quem quer ficar próximo da região do Rio Guaíba. Entretanto, pelo atendimento e preço existem outras opções melhores em Porto Alegre

The hotel was modern and very clean. The front desk staff and the concierge were amazing, they were very friendly and responsive. The location is excellent, you have shopping right next to the hotel and there's another mall almost across the street. The view from the room was great, I had a great view of Guaiba Lake. We paid for valet parking and it was worth it, never a problem. Just park in front of the hotel and turn in your keys. I highly recommend The DoubleTree Hotel in Porto Alegre. I will be staying there the next time I visit Porto Alegre,
