I love that there is a lot of choices for food and it is right on the r[ght on the max line and thats also what is kind of bad the max is vary loud but it is not to bad over all

I want to preface this review with the fact that staff was very helpful in helping me move rooms…. Four times! This was for a variety of reasons, including the room, smelling strongly like urine, the TV not working (they’re like 20 yrs old anyway) and the bedroom door not locking. I was traveling for work so I was very happy that they let me cancel my second night I had booked so I was able to move hotels. If this place is your absolute last resort, then OK but as a woman traveling alone, probably the first time that I have felt unsafe staying at a hotel! They also charge you $20 for parking a night and never refunded my second night. There are zero amenities and the elevator is unreliable at best. I paid $25 more and stayed in a much, much nicer room just down the street!

I stay here almost every year as I head north to escape the Texas heat. I stay here largely because it's on the Red Line. So it’s easy to get here from the airport. I then usually get a car the next day, again taking light rail to get there. The Inn is rather old, but they keep it really clean. The staff is good,but seem to keep busy so sometimes it's hard to get them to the front desk. Think the owners give them too many extra duties.

Definitely a budget option, not a hidden gem. One broken elevator, the other felt like it was from a scary movie. The walk down the hallway to our room had me doubting my life choices. The room itself was decently updated, had the basic amenities (except a broken door chain and had to put a pillow in the open spot in the window that the curtains didn’t quite cover), and was extremely clean, so big kudos to the cleaning staff for making our stay manageable. Loud location with car & TriMet train traffic and thin walls - people seemed to be up, talking loudly, and moving around well into the early morning. A cheap place to lay your head if you are just passing through, but I wouldn’t go back, and most definitely would never go alone. Paid parking area is underneath and kind of around the block with no direct access to the interior- kind of a sketchy-feeling walk if you arrive late at night.

As a loyal returning guest who chooses this hotel every year for convention season, I always look forward to my stay. This year had a few minor snags, but the staff’s helpfulness reminded me why I keep coming back. When my initial room had a broken shower, the staff was incredibly accommodating and made the room change as smooth and convenient as possible. While the overall front-desk energy felt a little less welcoming than in previous years, the team was consistently helpful whenever I needed assistance. A few facility issues stood out this year: the luggage carts weren't available, though the staff kindly offered a dolly so I could transport my water and supplies. One elevator was also out of order, making the remaining one quite slow after a long day on the convention floor. One room was missing clothes hangers. Additionally, the property didn't quite have the same fresh, crisp atmosphere I’ve enjoyed in the past. The rooms themselves were clean, and because the staff handles hiccups so well, I'm choosing to view this year’s experience as a temporary fluke. I look forward to returning next year and seeing the venue back to its usual top-tier shape!

Exceptionally price this hotel is well located with a nice view of the city. Under new management it seems that they are trying to take a tired older facade and make improvements (painting, bedding, etc). The management and is extremely helpful and nice trying hard to accommodate their guest. I have stayed there at least five times and will continue to due so.

Place is dirty dead cockroach’s the water in the bathtub filled while in the shower didn’t feel comfortable showering even with shower shoes. We had to go down to reception few times cause our room key would stop working always long wait to get that fixed. The workers were good people but the property is far from that stay at your own risk

The location is ideal if you are attending an event at the convention center. The staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the WiFi didn’t work. Our room was noisy due to street noise and was out dated. Also, the hallway outside our room had broken ceiling tiles and was rundown.

The location is top notch. Very near Moda Center and nearby restaurants. The staff were very friendly but unfortunately the hotel is rundown and dilapidated. It really needs a major renovation. The bed was okay and I had a good nights sleep. The floor carpet had stains and the bathroom also had stains on the tiles. Didn’t risk taking a shower and left early the next morning.

Check-in was slow, because the card reader was not working. I had to come down twice because my key didn’t work both times. Almost every time I came back to the hotel, my key did not work, and I had to come back down to get it fixed. The rooms were okay, just unfinished fixes, such as the mirror being on the ground and not on the wall. The shower pressure was good, but the drain was not draining the water fast enough. For convenience, I would recommend finding a different hotel around this price if you are on a budget. The location was very convenient, though. All the bus stops and light rails were very close to the hotel.

The exterior of the building will give you a pretty good idea of how the interior is maintained. This hotel is located downtown, surrounded by larger and more expensive hotels. My impression was that it primarily caters to people looking for a quick overnight stay or simply a place to get out of the elements. The staff were helpful enough during check-in, and I appreciated that they did not get involved with some random individuals asking guests about a lost backpack. However, that interaction was one of the first things that gave me a bad feeling about the property. When I got to the elevator area, one of the two elevators was out of order. While waiting, I also noticed some questionable activity among other guests that did not exactly improve my impression of the hotel. Once I got to my room, the dated condition of the property became even more apparent. There were no USB ports or other convenient technology connections, and the room had a very old-school telephone and lighting setup. The toilet paper dispenser in the bathroom had been ripped off the wall, and the walls were dingy. Most concerning, the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The beds appeared clean based on a visual inspection, but the overall condition of the room, outdated technology, and strong smoke odor made the stay uncomfortable. Outside, the hotel was surrounded by piles of debris and trash, as well as people who appeared to be unhoused. Overall, this was not a great place to stay.
