"Angélique ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, sehr nett, hilfsbereit und herzlich. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, der Empfang toll. Leider ist die Unterkunft weit weg von fast Allem: Keine Einkaufsmöglichkeit und auch kein Restaurant in der unmittelbaren Nähe. Ohne Auto oder Fahrrad ist man ein wenig verloren. In direkter Nähe gibt es wenig zu sehen, in 5-20km Entfernung gibt es viele Museen zum D-Day, Reste des Atlantikwalls, Ste Mère Eglise, Valognes, St Vaast... Eine sehenswerte Region."

"Wonderful! A once in a lifetime opportunity to stay in a magnificent Chateau taken from the fairy tales. The owners are very nice, the place is clean and decorated with grace, with attention to every little detail and great ancient artifacts and restoration work done. The grounds are beautiful. Mon séjour faisait suite à une étape particulière dans ma vie . Éric m’a accompagnée avec une délicatesse et une écoute exceptionnelles . This stately manor house has a “Masterpiece Theater “ feel inside and out, and Karine is a terrific host in this beautiful fin de siecle home with 21st century-appointed Room decor. Marine provides an amazing breakfast for a small up-charge, and well worth it. Sh is an equestrian and the Villa is on horse property in rural Tamerville near Valognes. One caveat, you must have a car 🚗 Transportation options in rural Normandy are very limited....

Hospitality as it should be !
"Hôtel Le Louvre is just perfect ! I felt instantly welcome when I arrived thanks to a most friendly and professional receptionist. The hotel itself , is ideally located in the heart of city centre , in a quiet and easily acccessible street, with a private garage . The whole property is immaculate, my room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with great bedding and bathroom. A welcome pack of biscuits , a bottle of water and some nice soap and shampoo were a rather nice touch. The breakfast buffet , prepared by a very friendly team,offered a great selection of food and the coffee was good. I only stayed one night , before boarding my delayed ferry to Ireland but could happily have stayed longer to visit Cherbourg and surroundings . So well done and thank you to the Team...I'll definitely be back."
