"Clean, friendly, room ok with lovely balcony and view. No lift Dinner ok for me.(Pork chops) not for my wife . Breakfast ok but coffee awful. I had fresh fruit, yogor, toast, juice and tea. Hot was scrambled egg (it ran out( and tiny sausages. No vale la pena. Super lady and young M an at reception and bar."

"A beautiful hotel in an amazing village. Breakfast was also great with pancakes and scrambled egg included plus the normal pastries, bread, yoghurt, cheese, meat and fruit! We managed to park right outside the hotel (4 spaces) but there is also a public car park in the same area. A walk around the walls and castle of Marvão is thoroughly recommended - marvellous 360 views!"

"Great location and hotel! It’s a little older, but very charming. The staff person was wonderful, and the area is incredible! We parked right outside the beginning of the town, as driving on the narrow streets didn’t feel worth the short-ish walk to get there. "

"Great place near to the centre. Parking nearby though not at the place which was not made clear in advert. Room lovely. bed very comfortable with excellent mattress. Great place to stay for one night stop over. "

"The hotel is lovely but could do with an update. Bathroom is very old and the beds are a bit lumpy. The food in the restaurant could be better than frozen veggies. With a bit of work it could be a fabulous hotel. "
