"Cottage was very clean. Really enjoyed opening the window and spending a slow morning watching the sunrise over Lake Superior after a night around the fire pit. Every thing needed was supplied in the cottage, plus ice cream! Appreciate the single night layover on our way to the Apostle Islands, definitely understand why two of our fellow guests were regulars there"

"Cozy lodge environment with modern clean rooms. Restaurant was great with awesome staff (understaffed though) and great service. Bar and restaurant close VERY early though. Not much space to relax by the water either. But all in all, great place - will definitely return."

"This is so close to the ferry and downtown, we could walk almost everywhere. The only thing I would change is there should be a microwave in each room. It was downstairs by the ice machine. I like late night snacks but did not want to go in.my pj's. Otherwise perfect. I would definitely stay there again."

"This hotel has a nice view of the bay. The breakfast offerings and dining area were good. It is their standard practice to provide housekeeping services only after the third night of the stay, and then they didn't change our sheets. There are a number of restaurants available in nearby Ashland."
