This property has huge potential considering it’s location and decent size rooms with balcony. We stayed only few hours. There was a smell from smoking which was evident from the moment we entered the lobby. Pest control seemed to be overdue as there were so many german cockroaches in the room.

The room we were put in was a few metres away from the front entry door. We could easily hear people entering the complex, talking laughing etc till about 1:00am. The door which led onto the balcony had no lock on it.

We were greeted with a friendly welcome upon arrival,room was clean and had a nice view from our balcony at end of building,convenient to shoppping,restaurants,river and beach all in walking distance.Our 3 night stay was overall pleasant and would choose Port Aloha again.

Its an older style motel but for the age of it the rooms are quiet modern clean and tidy. The pool area is also nice and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Worst service ever. The lady on the counter was so rude. She needs to learn how to welcome the guest. Property was not good enough as we paid. This property is not good specially for families with kids

I had a room on my own and felt very safe. They rearranged rooms so my elderly father could be on the lowest floor. Very cheery staff. Cheap place to stay but great value with balconies. Easy walk to restaurants and pubs.

Ideal stop travelling to QLD
We used this motel as a stop between Sydney and Hold Coast. We arrived after hours and we’re able to get into our room without any hassle. Room was clean and comfortable

We were woken by the fire alarm in our room at 12.50 am - that was not fun. Someone then turned up, didn't say much and proceeded to climb a ladder, take the batteries out, put them back in and leave. It was bizarre.

The lady at reception wasn’t friendly or welcoming .I was directed to the room which was ok relatively clean but quiet basic and spartan .after returning from dinner tried to park in my allocated car space only to find no access due to neighbouring client having parked perpendicular to car spaces with car and boat as that’s where he was told to park. At checkout I bought this up as I ended parking off the property but was met with a stony look and no apology.will not be returning and would not recommend
