On a main road which, whilst convenient, also made it noisy.Perhaps the rooms not backing onto the road are better. The water in bathroom was leaking from the filter and the lock was awkward to get into.

It was very well priced and close to everything and easy accessible to most things in Port MacQuarrie.Overall pretty good but needing some minor repairs

A great place to stay while travelling through Port Macquarie. Clean, comfortable and close to everything. Loved our stay at the Excelsior.

Very convenient location for me. The staff very kindly changed my upstairs room to downstairs, so I didn’t have to carry my suitcase up the stairs-I was most appreciative. A couple of cobwebs in the bathroom. Position of the shower head needs fixing too! Bed comfortable but overall the room needs a little TLC.

Room was basically clean and tidy. Unfortunately, the basin tap had a slow drip, toilet flushes badly and a tile in the shower base was broken and half of it lifted with my foot. No damage to me but needs repair.

Appalling old bed, with broken springs, and even worse, at 8am, a barely tepid shower, not worthy of being even called cool. Add to that the cockroaches running on the bathroom bench, and overall, it was terrible.

Double bed sunk into middle. Would have like a couple of biscuits in kitchen caddy. Was quiet and a beautiful spot to walk to a function at the Sails at night. Room clean.
