"My stay at the Colonial Hotel was a pleasant experience. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met with a smile. The pool area was absolutely beautiful—well-maintained and a perfect place to relax. Overall, the property was very clean and well cared for, which added to the comfort of our stay. "We loved the setting/landscape, the outdoor patio, and the pool. Our room was lovely, too, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We also liked the proximity to the lake/beach. It took us about 10 minutes to walk to the beach and we enjoyed sunset by the water. The restaurant in the hotel was also nice, if a bit misleading about the description of the dishes (e.g., two eggs was really one egg if you opted for the small portion). But overall, we enjoyed our stay. I loved the in-room coffee a lot and our room had a fireplace that, even if it was only decorative, it still made the room feel cozy. We hope to come back again sometime. "

"There wasn’t anything I didn’t like! The hot tub and the pool were very clean, the home made breakfast was amazing, the room was very clean, the barbecue was a great addition, and so was the fire pit. For any future guests … utilize the amenities this property gives!"
