"The room its self was ok, bed was comfortable but there are things to be aware of. Hotel is from 1901 and not totally renovated yet, rooms are up stairs which are original. Doors are half doors, again original but I’m big had to remove back pack to enter. Biggest bath is NOT attached, it’s yours with a key but it’s across the hall so you need to dress to use it. It also closes sort of early, I just barely got in at 9:30."

"Room was beautiful, very clean and spacious. Great value for money. Far exceeded our expectations. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Secure parking for our vehicle. Bed was amazing, had a great nights sleep. "

"Too many uninvited room mates stay with me. Ants on my bed (lucky had two beds in my room). The biggest noisy ine is cricket in my room as well. I was too tired to find it. Make the noise almost all night. I have no choice as I was self late check in. It was not a good experience after 12 hours drive, "

"Too many unquestionable people staying and hanging around the property. Didn’t feel overly safe leaving the car at night. Was noisy with people opening and shutting doors, very loud road noise."

"This is a basic motel, but clean and friendly. I found the pillows to be very hard, and bought a soft one to use but that’s just my preference. Room was clean with the beds made once a week. Manager was friendly and helpful. Parking was a little difficult to manoeuvre but manageable. "

"Lovely hotel. Usually a dog friendly room is the worse room, but we have no choice. Here, it was a beautiful room, renovated and clean and very spacious. Best dog friendly room we have stayed in. Thank you for treating us as responsible pet owners. We dont take rooms that allow pets for granted, we know it’s a privilege but we also pay a premium for these rooms. At last a hotel where the premium was worth it. "
