"We had a lovely stay and the breakfast was plentiful and varied with good quality ingredients. Our bed was comfortable and it felt like a proper home-from-home. I just can't fault our experience here because the location was good and Chris & Jackie were very helpful and welcoming. On the morning of our departure, Jackie had noticed that the seagulls had made a mess on our car so she gave the car a wash! That was above and beyond most peoples expectations as far as I'm concerned. Excellent."

"Upgraded to a seaview room. Room comfortable and clean. Had requested a large bad which we got. Good breakfast. Outside is a little tired but location excellent."
"Still the best place to stay in Poole. Shower was awesome, enough room to get a rugby union team in!!! Great location near the restaurants on the Quay and a ten minute walk from the train station. Deluxe Room was very spacious and had an iron bath in the corner!! However, mattress was too soft and the pillows too 'fluffy'. Just a personal note, but we needed hard mattresses and 'dull' pillows. Breakfast is over-priced (plenty of coffee shops/delicatessens in Poole), but if you need to eat one, buy the Cooked and go all in!! Large bar area and restaurant. Fabulous building all round, full of history - you can learn about one of the previous owners in nearby Poole Museum."
"Amazing views over Poole! We ate dinner at the hotel as we wanted to enjoy the view. Breakfast was busy which is to be expected as I think all room rates include breakfast- they had to pause taking orders for 5/10 mins as the chef had too many orders . It would be a good idea to ask guests to book a time for breakfast in order to avoid a sudden influx at one time. Lots of stuff ran out and staff members seemed stressed.
The rooms very very nice with great jet bath. Air con worked well. As it's an old hotel the floor boards above us were a bit noisy and walls were thin. But the king size bed was very comfy.
Would definitely return.
Dinner was lovely and the waiter was great. It would have been nice to have the option to dine outside but apparently there weren't enough staff.
Great location for the beach."
"Great place, Very nice room, nice touch with water in the room very quiet, ample free parking, didn’t have breakfast ( included ) as I had to leave early,
Two small issues, had a bath & nearly set the fire alarm off as bathroom door was slightly open ( my fault ) & breakfast was really far to late for working people ( 9.00am ) I would stay again but probably not if working."
