"There were repairs made to the wall inside the room. Plaster was all over the wall and carpet. The bathroom had clean towels, but the tub was not clean. Used soap and hair still in the tub, on the shower wall and floor beside the toilet. Even saw a large bed bug crawling on the pillow on the bed."

"When I pulled up to the entrance, I saw a lady arriving with a bag of food. I thought nothing of it. When I went to the check-in desk, there was no attendant. I called out, looked around, and in the dining area--no one responded. I thought this is weird, so I waited, and after about ten minutes, the lady I watched entering the lobby with a bag of food was actually the customer service attendant. I'm guessing she left to get food or had someone deliver food to her in the parking lot. She...

"Not a great place. Basic amenities in a not so great area outside Richmond. You get what you pay for…bed was clean. Towels were barely towels. Front desk was behind a plastic barrier….not a great sign when you first walk into the lobby. Clerk seemed annoyed that I was checking in."

"This is honestly one of the nastiest hotels I have ever stayed in and i have stayed in some CHEAPPPP hotels. My first room had no ac, and black mold all over the bathroom. Then I got moved and the next room the toilet didn’t even work. The carpets in the hallway are disgusting and the laminate flooring in the rooms is peeling. I never usually complain but I was here for my best friends funeral and it was already a trying time just to be left in the nastiest hotel in Virginia."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Quirk! The service is wonderful, the design inspiring, the food delicious, and the overall feeling is that of a Southern Paris. We could live there! Instead, we made some purchases at the gift shop and took dozens of photos to direct the re-design of our home in Toronto. everything will be pink! "There was only 1 elevator working the whole weekend. All of the guests were discussing it as we left today. Apparently, people were riding up with their luggage just to have an option at getting in with enough room to go down during checkout. At some points, there were 30 minute waits!"
