Hotel St. Pierre is a lovely small town hotel with everything needed for my short stay. The staff were very pleasant and helpfull with arranging a taxi. It's a short walk to the train & bus station. Actually everything is within waking distance: Restaurants, shops, groceries, & entertainment. The continental breakfast was fresh. Single serve hard boiled egg with select ham & cheese slices served with a croissant. Other breads were available as well as fruits, Fresh ground single serve coffee was very good. I recommend this hotel should you travel to Pontarlier.
