Recently, I had the pleasure of staying at Mosteiros Place, for a couple of days in mid-November, and that was a most delightful experience. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff at the front desk were not only efficient but also genuinely friendly. Their warm welcome exceeded all expectations. Throughout my stay, the staff consistently demonstrated exceptional service. Room food service was one of my best culinary experiences. Breakfast was a culinary masterpiece, and the attentive service added to the overall enjoyment. View from a room—the most joyful view and private zone you can have. I enjoyed the relaxation and view from the room. Photos attached. I totally recommend this hotel for a stay in Sao Miguel. The best breakfast we got on the island, the best room views, and the great cultural locations around it. Your must-have place. A special thank you to the personnel and staff, who were more than friendly, welcoming, warm, supportive, and most helpful in all the travel experiences I had.

I highly recommend renting a car and staying here! It isn't in the most tourist part of the island but thats what makes it special. The staff at this property are such beautiful people and so kind!

This is a totally unique property in design, and staff. Beautiful setting with amazing views, pool, and outstanding staff. Adrianna, David, Vanessa were fabulous in their service attitude, kindness and so pleasant to get to know. Can't say enough great things about this place, great price for all of the comfort, service and amenities. Would definitely go back and will.

Breathtaking views right from your room
Our room had the most amazing view facing the ocean - and with floor to ceiling windows we could experience it all. Included daytime and nighttime views right from the living room. Add in the friendly hotel staff and tasty breakfast makes staying here a no-brainer.

The windows in each room give a spectacular view, especially of the sunset! We only stayed one night on our travel across the island, but it was a great choice! We hung by the pool and enjoyed the beautiful view and then enjoyed the sunset from our apartment room!

Mosteiros Place was unbelievable. If you’re thinking of staying anywhere else on the island DON’T! The place was beautiful, safe, and truly luxurious! Not to mention the service and the care of the employees was exceptional. I couldn’t recommend it enough if you’re going to Sao Miguel! Bonus if you have a rental car the parking situation and fob gate entry is great.

We enjoyed our stay in one of the apartments in Mosteiros Place. While it is a bit off the most island's attractions, it is located in a very quiet area with beautiful views of the ocean. Staff is very caring, the place is super clean and well maintained, the breakfast is simple but very good! If you don't mind a bit of driving and need some space for your family, this is the place to be!

Wonderful stay!
Modern, comfortable, and great amenities! Staff were welcoming and very accommodating. We had lost our luggage and staff were so kind to stock up all our toiletries and linens. There was also complimentary biscuits and drinks when we arrived! Will most definitely stay again!

As very refreshing getaway
The best staff! Fantastic accommodation. View and sunsets stunning! Such a delightful change from the average location. great to be in aa "real" place where you see the island for what it is, beautiful! Staff so friendly whether at the hotel, driving in the village or just on the beach.

The service was beyond excellent. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive to every one of our needs. The property is in a very beautiful location overlooking the ocean. Even when all the restaurants in Mosteiros are closed, the property room service delivers hot, delicious and fresh foods. The best and most warm feeling was on the last day. We were to leave the following morning at 6am, so the manager brought in the breakfast the previous night and stored it in our refrigerators so we could eat and then leave for the airport. Thank you very much the entire staff at Mosteiros Place for making our trip so wonderful.

Moisteiros, Sau Miquel
Moisteiros Place was just perfect. The hotel apartments are just beautiful. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast each morning, and even ordered dinner in one night! Both Carla and Rubin were incredibly informative and helpful in planning our days. Should we return to Sau Miguel, we will definitely stay at Moisteiros Place!

We stayed at four different places on the island as we toured Sao Miguel for 8 days. This was our favorite, and we did not want to leave! We felt so welcome! The staff is the best and service is excellent! Bruno and the others treated us like family! The place is gorgeous and charming and luxurious. Our breakfasts were perfect and we had the option of eating in the dining area, decorated in crisp blue and white, or outside by the pool. This was the high point of our trip with this property and the surrounding areas being our favorite. There are not a lot of choices in the area to dine at, but that was the only negative thing about Mosteiros. We felt so comfortable here. It only has 6 rooms so everyone is treated so special. STAY HERE! It’s worth every penny!

Spectacular hotel!! The accommodation was beautiful with impressive views. Staff were the friendliest we experienced during our stay. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and could be served in the dining room or brought to your room. We dined in for dinner as well and thoroughly enjoyed the burger and watching the sunset poolside. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful location with easy access to Sete Cidades.

A perfect get-away location. The place was immaculately clean and cared for - very clearly built-for-purpose. beautiful views from whole apartment, breakfast delivered to room was exquisite. Easy walk into town or up to the lakes, quiet street, excellent service.

We had the pleasure to stay for our honeymoon two weeks at Mosteiros Place together with our one year old toddler. Thanks to Andre and his great team we have experienced a lovely, comfortable and unforgettable stay on São Miguel Island. Andre, as a former guide, was always ready with very nice suggestions on what to visit depending on the weather and giving great advice on which restaurants we should check out. His team was all the time ready to fulfill any wish we had, spoiling our little one and preparing super tasty breakfast and salads. You really have to try the salads and they are thinking about opening a restaurant so the menu might grow. The appartement has everything one needs: living room with great views, a dinner table for four and a well equipped kitchen, a nice bathroom with bathtub and a bedroom with access to the balcony again w/ an amazing view on the sea. In the hotel facility there is a nice dinning room, a fitness studio and two swimming pools, one for adults and one for kids. For everyone traveling with children, you will love this place. Our kid was spoiled in every way and they had a cot for him, a baby seat and a buggy. The location itself is pleasent as well, although it is on the western end of the island you reach lots of sight within a short time by car (you need one to get there) - to cross it lenghtwise and get to Nordeste for the sunrise, it only takes you about one and a half hours by car! We highly recommend this amazing place to anyone!
