Llegué en autobús a Ponferrada y fui caminando desde la estación. Al llegar, la puerta estaba cerrada pero llamé por teléfono y bajaron pronto a atenderme. Me alojé en la segunda planta y no hay ascensor pero fueron pocos tramos de escaleras. Me explicaron el funcionamiento de la cocina y me ofrecieron dos baños, ya que no lo hay en la habitación. Me dieron la llave y se adaptaron a mi horario para desayunar los días siguientes

I reserved this hotel during my Camino de Santiago. Slightly out of the city center but a 15-20 minute walk to the Templar Castle and back on the trail. It’s good to have GPS because the property is in a neighborhood. Very lovely receptionist who greeted us with fresh cold water after a long day of walking. She spoke enough English to give us the basic information of which keys lock which door since it’s a secure building. The private rooms do share 2 bathrooms modern well-equipped kitchen and washing machine. Showers are clean with great water pressure & hot water. The fridge has dedicated shelves for room assignments. Well thought out decor
