"When we first arrived I was like what did I book for us. The outside looks alittle run down , could use alittle sprucing up. The rooms were great. It was a really nice, big, clean room the bed was comfortable. They had a good size fridgeannd they were right across the street from the beach. It was just a few feet and you are at the beach. We stayed there 2 days before going to our timeshare for a week. I would highly recommend this resort. Thanks for a great stay."

"I loved the proximity to Whaler Village where it was only a few minutes away! The beach was right by our doorstep and so was the pool and the hot tub. It was unfortunate to not have any housekeeping service throughout our six night stay. I was surprised to be among time share owners and felt a bit awkward whenever I used the pool and hot tub. Four out of six nights did a big group of time share owners seem to have their private party in the shared/common areas."

"This property made it easy to relax on the beach, enjoy local activities and dining, and swim if desired. Very good location and amazing views! We would definitely love to book here again in the future."

"Room was clean. Very nice staff. Grills by pool-side helped with meals and grills were clean which made cooking outside easy. Pool was larger than the photo made it seem. Small hot tub at end of pool."

"The staff were pleasant and helpful. Accommodation were clean and comfortable. We did not use the parking garage but we knew it was reserved. Parking in this area is very limited. 24 hr security and after hours assistance if needed. "

"Great spot located next to the beach"

"Great property! Self check-in is quick and easy. Bell service takes luggage and any kind of groceries up to the room. Pools and beach access was a dream. Would definitely recommend to families!"

"I was in Kona on a work trip. The hotels in area were way over the U.S. government’s lodging per diem rate. Kona Bali Kai was a very great and affordable option for me. I will definitely be staying there in the future for work again and for vacation in the future as well."

"The shower in the 2nd bath by kitchen shower head was like razor blades!!! Horrible!!! Painful!! Check in for vehicle was ridiculous! Couldn’t register my car!! Than threatened I’d better do it. I tried and tried.Patio by bedroom couldn’t open door to sit out there! Not cleaned. Would have Been nice to sit there for breakfast meal. "

"The location was great, close to Kona and beaches as well as grocery and dining. The property was maintained and easy to get around. We didn't get A/C and were ok with windows open the drawback is you do hear a lot of the comings and goings from other units. We would definitely stay here again! "

"Being on the beach was key. Hotel staff were excellent, though noticed a couple of things which seem to slip and probably due to Covid and now Trump. I had to call for housing keeping for towels as no one showed up first first 5 days. The dryer door came off in the hinge at top (just needed screws tighten). The room was good, but a couple of things which were needing attention, this is not a 4.6 star .... closer to 4. Though I'm sure when travel to US is not an issue, this beautiful place...
