"This property is in the middle of nowhere so there it comes the magic. I can’t complain about slow and poor wifi or power issues since this isn’t a hotel but a home stay. The family hosting is among the best people you could ever meet, very attentive with guests and providing an excellent service and serving a tasty land grown food. We really enjoyed our time there, certainly a place to disconnect in the middle of the island "

"Property is not found at 53 Riverside Road, Matale. Given phone is switched off but he answered on the previous day and asked us to come. According to him weather was ok but weather was terreble and came back home because no place to stay at the night. I had to block my card as well. The worst experience I have ever had. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone."

"We were extremely pleased with our stay at Pura Sanda Villa. We were a party of five adults (mostly women) and two young kids and we stayed for 4 nights. Our hosts were friendly, loving, attentive and respectful. The matron/owner Dissanayaka cooked breakfast and dinner at our request (for which we paid separately) and her dinner curries were the best we ate in Sri Lanka. "Planches rustiques grinçantes pour sommier, Matelas taché est trop grand par rapport au lit, oreillers et literie d'un blanc jaunâtre plein de taches et souillés .....le tout froissés. Les murs couverts de toiles d'araignées sans oublier les rideaux. Pas possible de se voir dans le miroir de la salle de bain et le reste suit. Le PQ n'existe pas ici et la totale pas d'eau le matin. Bref l'hôtel est à enlever du site."
