Hotels near Pointe-à-Pitre Marina

"This is a glorified hotel and not really a resort. There is nothing to do and the beach there is not great. Accommodations aren’t great. The room is decent but very bad WiFi IN the room. The WiFi is great outside the room where the routers are but it is almost in existent on the beach itself which isn’t far from the building. Lots of ants running around the rooms and mosquitos at night are bad. No staff speaks English so it’s hard to communicate with them and get stuff done. It’s a budget place if you just want a place to put your head at night and move around through out the day. Overall, would not recommend. "

"Room was good. Check was lengthy as clerk at desk finally greeted us after a 12 min wait because she was consulting with her colleague (supposedly). The coffee maker was disgusting as a filter had been left in it for what I think was weeks. Showed the clerk but all she did was take a pic. Never sent anyone to come clean it so was unusable. The whole inventory process was super lengthy. 3 pages of making sure everything was in the place even the deco on the wall. Don’t think that is for the clients to do but a staff job. Other than that I guess our stay was adequate "

"The property needs to be upgraded. The furniture on the balcony was dingy and unattractive. The tiles on the perimeter of the balcony as moldy. The views were lovely. The hotel is located in the heart of everything on the beach. It would lovely if it was refreshed "

"The apartment was in good condition but it was unexpected not to have windows (other than a shuttered one in the kitchen to the inner foyer area). And the listing clearly says microwave (there wasn’t one) and laundry facilities (there were but not for guest access). That last was a huge issue but with a lot of pressure we were given access to the washer/dryer. "
