We got to the motel late after visiting a friend in a nursing home. Ate our supper at AJsResterant on 22nd Ave. Didnt get to the hotel till after 5pm. The room was clean. Noise in 601 was loud. Never got ti use the hot tub. We stayed in our room the rest of the night because we had a 3 hour ride so we were exhausted. Checked out early. Half way home i checked our checking acct. There was another $36.49 withdrawn from our checking. So i called the hotel and got the runaround. 4 calls later i asked for the manager (who wasnt in). I eventually found out they charged us for a dinner we never had. Still dealing with this. Its not all about cleanliness it is also about Customer Service.

Pool and whirlpool were disgusting. Couldn’t even swim. It was so salty you just floated immediately. If you get a room by the elevator, move. They aren’t mindful enough to put someone in one that isn’t next to the shaft when the place is EMPTY! Do not stay here. I tried to get a credit or refund and they ghosted me.

First room had loud noise like a compressor when flushed. 2nd room was good. Cleaning staff was amazing. Evening desk lady was also amazing. Was not impressed when at 1040 a.m. our keys to the room were deactivated we went down to get a cart and could not get back into our room. Luckly for me my son was still in there. We were out before 11 but no reason to deactivate key cards 20 to 30 minutes before 11.

The only hitch I ran into was a prepaid for a breakfast, and when I went down, there was a sign on the door saying that the restaurant was closed. I was told by The front desk that they would have to process it when the manager was there because the refund needs to come through Expedia, which is fine. Honestly, for what I needed it for it was perfect. I only needed one night to conduct an attendance online memorial service…. But the room was well appointed to where if I had needed a longer day I would’ve been very comfortable. Very comfortable bed lots of pillow choices good lighting. Little bit of an issue getting my CPAP plug plugged in next to the bed at first, but I worked it out. Really, I can’t complain. The breakfast wasn’t their fault, the restaurant is a separate entity. They had a well stock store with food items that I utilise when I got hungry in the middle of the night. And even then the staff asked me if I had my ticket for my breakfast in the morning, so they clearly didn’t know at one in the morning that the breakfast was not going to be on. I’m sure that the issue will be taken care of with Expedia. Will definitely stay again if a local hotel is needed to me.
