"Our room had absolutely amazing views and was very clean and comfortable with good air conditioning. We were in one of the beach view rooms with a large patio and extra bedroom. The property was very quiet. I couldn't hear the noise from the road behind, only the ocean waves. The pool was clean and surrounded by lovely landscaping. "This was called an ecolodge because it does not use bug spray and has no hot water. It was way overpriced for a hostel and did not meet hotel standards, when booking you had to book 2 nights minimum, non refundable. We were expected to supply our own towels which we did not know. The owner graciously provided us with towels. The owner was pleasant and provided us a place to stay with our dog which is uncommon for Costa Rican hotels. We sincerely thank her for that.
