"This place is about 1hour and 45min from SJO and it was the perfect trip for a few days to visit nearby Parrita and Jaco. We wanted a quiet romantic bitoque hotel and it’s exactly what we got. We walked to the beach (about 10-15 min walk) and then relaxed by the pool. The property views were amazing! The room was clean and comfortable. "

"We had the delux beachfront villa. The villa was amazing !!! Such a cool relaxed vibe. Beautiful artwork. Such an amazing space. The restaurants food was great and reasonably priced. Just wish we had longer there. The private pool was fantastic."

"Nothing about this stay was acceptable. If I could give less than one star, I would. 1. No hot water in the unit. 2. Kitchen was infested with ants and effectively unusable, forcing us to eat out. 3. Curtain rail in the bedroom was held together with duct tape and eventually fell down onto my children. 4.Beds were misrepresented in the listing. It advertised one King and two Queens; in reality, it was one Queen and two Double beds. 5. Only two towels were provided for four people....

"Excellent location, walk to the beach/pulperia. Everything you might need or want in a community kitchen with an endless supply of coffee and sugar! BBQ, pool, grounds, & parking area - well thought out! Pet-friendly and overall very impressed with this property. "

"The breakfast was fresh (a buffeta of: rice, beans, plantains, fresh fruit (pineapple, watermelon, and papaya), eggs, chorizo, ham, potatoes and toast). The staff seemed nice and one of them used a translator on her phone to communicate in English with me upon arrival when I asked if I had a balcony with a view of the beach. It was a VERY small balcony just large enough to stand on and if I looked ALL the way to the right I could see the beach. Other than that I would look at an empty lot used...

"There was no breakfast available in the morning before we left at 715am. There were no staff to be found at that time. The first room they gave us the shower was broken spraying water all over the room. The second room the shower was a little better but still had issues. When going to bed it was and you could hear others talking outside our room. The WiFi was not working for us and it was jist brushed off. They did not seem to care just saying they would look into it but never got back to...

"The private room was very clean and just big enough to stretch out. The air conditioning was very strong. Nikki, the receptionist on duty during our stay, was a wonderful help to us and devoted some of her own time helping us plan our time in Jaco. The pool is lovely, and the hostel owners make a wonderful Gallo Pinto for breakfast every morning."
