"A very good hotel. Staff occasionally difficult to get hold of via room telephone and requests required follow-up or some simple requests like asking for an apple apparently impossible, although we later found a free fruit bowl in the spa so that was fine. Check-in was great very helpful. Welcome email clearly AI generated (laughably over the top!) . Laundry fees extortionate so we went with a local launderette up the road (wash and dried for about £10 in just over an hour). Hotel fees are per item not per load and would have cost over £100 with hotel!!!!"

"Barely any wear-and-tear on the rooms, but the bedside light fixtures were not working. Breakfast buffet is highly varied, with options catering to any dietary restriction. On-site restaurants and bars are convenient and offer great dining options."

"I reported to the front desk that someone came into my room when I was not there and stole money out of my room. The front desk staff was not willing to do anything and said they would let their manager know and try to check cameras. They never got back to me. It made me feel very unsafe at this hotel. I have no idea how someone entered my room, I am a young female, and I still had to stay another night in that room alone. Did someone break into my room? Did someone who works there enter my room to steal? I will never know."

"The family room was extremely small and uncomfortable. Breakfast was a shambles—very disorganised, and if you arrived late, there was very little choice. At times, there was no cutlery or cups available. When booking with Hilton, I expected a certain standard and level of quality, but those expectations have been dispelled. I was really disappointed."

"Clean and convenient. Dual carriageway but quiet inside with tram stop outside to centre and 10 mins walk to square with nice restaurants. Felt safe. Decent breakfast."
