"What lovely people! We loved our stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful. They were patient and kind as I tried speaking Spanish. Wonderful! Our room was spotless, the air conditioning was powerful and the room was clearly made to feel welcoming. The location is fantastic for seeing the older part of the city. Views around the corner are great. We had a really relaxing and delicious breakfast here, outside the hotel soaking up some of the Peñíscola atmosphere. Coffee was excellent! This is in the older part of the city… so there are city steps to climb, which may be a factor for people. This place is just lovely. We would book again and thank you so much to the incredibly helpful, smiling staff - your welcome made such a difference!"

"The location is great, and the staff were very pleasant and the rooftop view was excellent. The only downside is that the rooms are very underwhelming but other than that, it is a great location. They advertise parking but when you arrive, they have a very limited number of spots and you end up having to park across the street for a very expensive price."

"The proprietress of the hotel was truly phenomenal. She was so helpful and friendly. We were grateful for her assistance in so many ways. The hotel is in a great location for exploring the medieval city of Peñíscola. It is cute and clean. And they have a wonderful restaurant. We had breakfast there all 4 mornings that we stayed. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. If you are considering a visit to Peñíscola, stay at the Hostal Dios Esta Bien!!"

"The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a nice variety of items. Location is excellent. Our room was small and had no outside view (our window opened to an inner shaft), but it was functional and sufficient for us."

"Excellent location at the base of the castle and a block from the beach. Great AC in the room. There's a small restaurant downstairs and many other restaurants nearby. If you like nature walks, check out the raised boardwalk at the Marjal nature preserve area about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. It's so peaceful and beautiful! The only thing we didn't like about the hotel is the glass door on the bathroom that only has tinting on about 2/3's of it. Who that was a good idea for a bathroom door?!?"
