I booked and paid for a double queen room, upon arrival(at 10pm) they gave me a room with a king bed only and had no other rooms available( not even a roll away as they don’t have any at this location-seriously?). I even called a few days before to confirm and was told I would be on the second floor and even given the room number! Was told by management the next morning because I booked a third-party instead of booking through Hampton themselves there’s no guarantee of what I get. I paid for a double( which was more $$)and got a single. I’ve never had this issue ever booking via Expedia or hotels.com. Needless to say one of us slept on a chair with an ottoman and the other one slept in a bed. The 2 other hotels in the area were booked so we had no choice but to stay.. the overnight front desk staff could not resolve the problem so were SOL!
