Host gentilissima e sempre disponibile per qualsiasi necessità. "This was my 2nd time staying at Hotel Calabona, it’s an ideal hotel in Alghero! The hotel is waterfront with a small private cove, has a large pool overlooking the sea! It’s a 15 minute walk to the town center or they have a free shuttle. I suggest booking a room with a water view, it’s worth it. The staff is amazing, friendly and extremely accommodating! I highly suggest renting a car for a day trip to Castlesardo, La Pelosa Beach (ranked a top beach in Europe), you need to make a reservation), and some of the local beaches. Maria Pia was my favorite (15-20 minute drive), you can find street parking at the back of the hotel near the promenade. My only suggestion to the hotel, i. the summer, keep the pool open a little later. Thank you Hotel Calabona! I’ll be back!"

"Beautiful location and great staff. There is a village store and restaurant 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Otherwise Alghero is the nearest town. The pool was great and sea views. The gym could have more equipment for a workout. We had a very relaxing stay thank you!"

"We stayed for only one night. The pool area was large with plenty of sun beds available, even arriving in the middle of the day. There was plenty of parking too. The buffet breakfast was ok, with a reasonable selection and quality of food. There is access to the beach easily available on the other side of the road from the hotel. It’s a longer trip (a couple miles) into the town so you’d need to prepare for a long walk, or to have transport if you’re planning on heading in there."
