"We had a good stay, the place was clean but felt a little underwhelming. One of the days we were told the whole town will be out of power. They did not offer any compensation. We went to another town to spend the whole day, it worked out even being a bit of an inconvenience. (I know they do not have control of over power supply). It was just a bit shocking staying somewhere that had no amenities/options. Plus only finding out when you check in for over a week. The pool/hot tub was a plus. The staff at the counter were friendly and helpful with any questions or needs. The other workers are friendly and welcoming. The attached restaurant was delicious. I do wish there was a bit more space to put clothes. Or a way to open the curtains, without it being exposed to the parking lot on the bottom level. Pets didn’t pose any problems. However, I do wish they had a designated potty yard."

"Amazing location. We stayed in the main lodge, but there are separate cabins. The view of the nearby moutains is incredible. The lodge is off-grid, but they generate their own power. There is a river within walking distance. An artesian spring bubbles up from the parking area. The water in the area is blue from minerals. It's right in the heart of the Rockies near Golden, BC. It's well worth the visit. Staff is helpful and accommodating. We had a nice chat with the manager."
