"The location is unbeatable (it's right next to the bus terminal, train station, and the cable car to the Eiger and Jungfrau). The hotel has a lovely bar with a beautiful view of the mountains and the river. The breakfast is very complete. The views from the rooms are spectacular, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend it."

Easy to access tram links into Basel. Much more cost effective and personable than staying in the city. Try Wok 68 and the bistro too if you are staying. "
