"We asked to check in early and were told they were cleaning our room at 1. We kept checking back every hour or so and apparently they were still cleaning the room and then waiting for someone to come in and verify the job was done. By the time we got into our room right at 4 PM we noticed there was a base of a wine glass that was broken underneath the desk as well as a few shards of glass near it. "It was a very clean stay. It’s a self check in hotel which is a first. The main entrance looks like a restaurant which threw me off. No parking in hotel. Luckily there was a parking structure across the street."

"Nice hotel in a great location. Easy walks to Old Montreal, waterfront, St Catherine's st, or downtown. Grocery store (IGA) and shopping mall with food court 5 min walk as are lots of restaurants. Room was large and VERY quiet. Beds were nice, slept well here. Breakfast was good. No hot eggs, sausage etc but the baked goods were of high quality ( croissants, bagels, bread) and the coffee was from a high end espresso machine. No complaints, we'd stay here again."

"The property was excellent. Our biggest problem was the noise on the street outside the building. We finally had quiet (to sleep) about 4 am. We would not book this place again as we are older and normally go to bed at 11 pm. Laying frustrated with the laughing and yelling outside will not happen again."

"The location is excellent to be able to walk everywhere. The Terrace restaurant is fantastic on the top of the hotel. The steam room at the Rainspa is great to experience!"

"This is a great spacios place to be able do a few extra things in the middle of our travels. The kitchen was nice to be able to start our days with a coffee for one of us and a kettle allowed me the tea that I love as I am one of those tea snobs that brings her own loose tea! The in suite laundry was the other hi-light. The place was big enough to be the meeting spot for our friends and us to relax and visit as well. I highly recommend."

"The location within Old Montreal was excellent, walking distance to most attractions, shopping, and restaurants as well as the cruise ship at dock. We could walk with large rolling suitcases to/from the cruise ship. The breakfast provided is tiny: consisting of a small pastry with cream and some type of spread, small bottled apple or orange juice. It arrives every morning in a wire basket on a hook outside you door. You can eat it either in the restaurant next to the lobby or in your room and...

"This beautiful old house was near Bell Centre and the Metro. A perfect location for getting to a Habs game or touring around the city. We called the staff when our plane arrived early and they opened the door to allow us to store our luggage because the front desk is not open until 4pm. The rooms are warm and the bathrooms very intimate. The tub was very relaxing after long days walking around Montreal. There is a kitchen for coffee and a relaxing deck to share with the other guests."
