"Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. The room was great: clean and comfortable. The location is a 10 minute walk across the river to the edge of downtown. So, factor that in if that matters to you. We would stay here again without question."

"Tres bon sejour, la chambre etait spacieuse et le lit tres confortable. Mobilier parfois un peu usé mais belle ambiance marocaine. Dommage pour le wifi qui etait tres faible. Je reviendrais quand meme volontiers lors de mon sejour a tours"

"Reception was not open at 14 o’clock, when we arrived. A sign told us it would open at 17 o’clock. Not too good a welcome."

"We stopped for one night, the hotel was fine but quite basic, our room was very small and a little dated, plus the bed quite hard. However, all the staff were very friendly and despite having little English (and us having little French) we warmly welcomed. Our room and the public areas were very clean and despite what other reviews have said, the area felt quite safe. The hotel is well located, a short walk to restaurants and bars, very near the railway station but also quiet at night."

"We had a lovely couple of nights here. So quiet and relaxing, a true luxurious and romantic place. We had the lodge with the hot tub which had gorgeous views of the pond (number 17). Slight issue with horse flies when walking to and from the main area through the woods but they didn’t like insect repellent so that worked well. One slight downer was we didn’t get asked if we wanted to book tables for dinner in the evenings and one night was fully booked with what must have been non resident...
