Room was newly remodeled, and we were the first to use the pull out couch. It was still sealed shut and wrapped in plastic when we opened it. However, the door latch into the room was missing critical components to feel secure. Bed was comfortable, staff was friendly.

We weren't warned ahead of time that the hotel was undergoing such extensive renovations. The hotel was basically being renovated throughout. There was dirt and dust everywhere. The room we were given was visually pleasing but there were 3 issues. First, the walls were thin and there were crews working in the rooms around our room. Second, there was a smoke alarm on the wall beside the bed which had a flashing light which was annoying. Lastly, the toilet was continuously running. The shutoff valve had been removed, so I couldn't shut off the water and it eventually flooded. Also, the fact that the hotel had a pool was a big factor in selecting the hotel, only to find out upon arrival that the pool was closed. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good, so it wasn't all bad but all in all it was very disappointing.
