"Great location , wonderful breakfast buffet , front desk staff were difficult to deal with. The garage door for the parking would not work and we were stuck in the garage for 30 minutes with no answer at the front desk phone. The female front desk agent was unpleasant , unwelcoming and would not listen when we told her the garage door would not open. Why is the out door pool closed without providing notice to the guest? We would have booked somewhere else if we knew the outdoor pool would be closed."

"This is an excellent hotel in an excellent location, right in the centre of Piran's historical area. We absolutely loved the breakfast and the terrace bar. I wish this bar was open on more evenings to watch the sunset, and it would have been great to have a kettle in the room. But these are minor points, and we can thoroughly recommend this hotel!"

"We had a lovely stay at Hotel Histrion. Our room was clean and comfortable, and it was great to have a kettle and mini fridge provided. The only downside was that the tea and coffee weren’t restocked during our stay. Breakfast was fine, with enough choice to start the day. A high chair was also always available for our daughter, which was really convenient. Unfortunately, the indoor pool at Hotel Histrion was closed during our stay, but this didn’t matter at all as we had plenty of other options. We were able to use the outdoor swimming area at Bernardin Plaza, as well as the outdoor pool at Apartments Vila Barka, free of charge. We also had the option of using the indoor pool at Grand Hotel Bernardin, but the weather was so lovely that we much preferred being outside! The outdoor swimming area at Bernardin Plaza was fantastic and really made our stay.
